Seapunk started out as a trend and meme on the website Tumblr and was later described as a microtrend in fashion and music.  by Wiki 

The New York Times described Seapunk as a "web-joke with music." It gained limited popularity as it was shared, forwarded, and linked across the internet.'

The Sea Punk Style is irreverent, funny and sometimes, cute.

It can be darker, lighter and more pastel... but either way it will have some similar elements like: the choice of colors such blueish and greenish hues, 90's prints like the smiley, yin and yan and the peace love sign, the under the sea and beach theme. 

You can see some holographic and iridescent materials, faux fur and faux leather and LOTS of and computer graphic designed  repetitive patterns. 

I think the style has developed and somewhat mixed with the glam grunge and space grunge because of the 90's influence, and of course, because of the internet.

Em resumo: o Seapunk começou como uma tendência e meme no site Tumblr e mais tarde foi descrito como um subestilo / microcultura de moda e música.

O estilo Sea Punk é irreverente, engraçado e, às vezes, bonitinho.

Ele pode ser mais escuro, às vezes mais leve e mais pastel ... mas de qualquer forma ele terá alguns elementos semelhantes, como: a escolha de cores como os tons azulados e esverdeados, estampas 90 como o smiley, yin e yan eo sinal de paz e amor, o tema de fundo do mar e praia.  

Você pode ver alguns materiais holográficos e iridescentes, peles e couro sintético  e MUITAS estampas  projetadas no computador em estampas repetidas.

Eu acho que o estilo se desenvolveu e um pouco e ficou misturado com o grunge espacial e o glam grunge por causa, exatamente, da influência dos anos 90, e, claro, por causa da internet.

PRINTS

The prints are part 1990's computer graphics, part Little Mermaid, this sea-inspired trend is certainly something catchy.

The colors are also a strong feature of this life style, especially flashy shades and hues in water green, cyan and purple, as well as metallic shades and prints.

The fashion sees a large amount of colors of blues and greens as reminiscent of aqua-related themes. Symbols such as yin-yangs, smiley faces and references to the 1990s are also a part of the style.

Above of all things, the nonsense aspect is present more than ever in the prints with repetitive motives.

As estampas são parte da década de 1990 computação gráfica, parte da Pequena Sereia, esta tendência de inspiração mar é certamente algo cativante.

As cores também são uma característica forte deste estilo de vida, especialmente tons chamativos e tons em verde água, ciano e roxo, além de tons metálicos e estampas.

Similar to Pastel Goth and Space Grunge. Since they all use colored hair it's hard to tell them apart.

It can be either in blue, green and cyan saturated colors or in light pastel like lilac, blue and pink.
