As you can see, most of you GALs from other countries are preparing yourselves to auttum, but we in Brazil just got out of winter!!
I don't know if you GALs know that we, brazillians, have some special care with spring and summer time.
Even though or seasons are not very different from each other- we can go to beaches every time of the year, for exemple-
in spring LOTS -i mean LOTS- of flowers blossom and a lot of seasonal fruits can be harvest. (Usually people think in auttum fro harvest uh? that too)
But some fruits only like hot weather, so spring is a treat to them. (our summer is too hot for most of them, but a few grew)
Also our most popular hollidays occur in spring and summer, such as schoo/college and business vacation, christmas and carnival...
I translated a Brazillian song (reaggae Style) so you can understand the lyrics...
Yeah, I know it's reaggae, it's not a traditional song style...
but i think reaggae is very popular in the beaches... Specially the ones people preserve more distant from cities, where people preserve nature.
it is not like a lasy song, but more like a brazillian hakuma matata
If life sometimes gives us some grey seconds (means like sad moments – grey usually means sadness)
e o tempo tic taca devagar
And Time tic taks slowly
Põe o teu melhor vestido, brilha teu sorriso
Puto n your Best dress, shines your smile
Vem pra cá, vem pra cá
Come here, Come here
If life many times only rains, only
e tudo não parece funcionar
And Everytime seems not to work
Leave that problem alone, to be ok
Vem pra cá
Come Here
Do lado de cá, a vista é bonita
From our side the view is pretty
A maré é boa de provar
And the tire is Nice to taste (slang means= the sea is great to swim)
Do lado de cá, eu vivo tranquila
From our side i live free (carefree)
E o meu corpo dança sem parar
And my body dances naturally (literally she says that her body dances and don’t stop)
In our side hás music, friends and someone to love
Do lado de cá
From our side
Life is now, make sure you don’t delay
To restart you only have to have Will of happiness so you can jump
Do lado de cá, a vista é bonita
From our side the view is pretty
A maré é boa de provar
And the tire is Nice to taste (slang means= the sea is great to swim)
Do lado de cá, eu vivo tranqüila
From our side i live free (carefree)
E o meu corpo dança sem parar
And my body dances naturally (literally she says that her body dances and don’t stop)
In our side hás music, friends and someone to love
Do lado de cá
From our side
