Hi, H-Sama Here! It's almost new year and I decided to get back to my researches about historical fashion. I got a bunch of new books and asked Santa for many others (plus Fabric, of course).
"Patterns of Fashion" from Janet Arnold, "18th Century Embroidery Techniques" from Gail Marsh and "18th Century Dressmaking from American Duchess" being my favorites so far.
It's so close to Beru Bara! Any Beru Bara - Rose of Versailles lovers here? (ベルサイユのばら Berusaiyu no Bara) And coincidentally BeruBara story is also from the same time period, 18th century... Anyways, It had to be done!
I spent so long learning about folklore costumes from around the world it's time to put some of them in the paper, giving special attention to the ones wore in Brazil. Turns out we can't really find much information of Brazilian Fashion and Brazil's historical clothing on the internet so I figured I'd give it a try.
My hopes are that during this process I will meet some darling friends also in love with period clothes and possibly help spread this passion in Brazil, inspire more reenactment actors in South America and spark this passion on kids.

Oie, H-Sama aqui! É quase ano novo e decidi voltar às minhas pesquisas sobre moda histórica.
Eu comprei vários livros novos e pedi ao Papai Noel muitos outros (além de tecidos, é claro).
"Moldes de moda Comentados" de Janet Arnold, "Técnicas de bordado do século XVIII" de Gail Marsh e "Costura do século XVIII da Duquesa Americana" são meus favoritos até agora.
O último foi a inspiração absoluta deste projeto "Baronesa Brasileira".
Eu sei, né? Não é muito criativo, mas eu realmente queria chamar BaroBura! * como é na leitura japonesa de BaroBRA!
É quase Beru Bara! Algum amante de Beru Bara - A Rosa de Versalhes aqui? (ら ル サ イ の ば ら Berusaiyu no Bara) E, coincidentemente, a história de BeruBara também é do mesmo período do século 18 ... De qualquer forma, tinha que ser feito!
Passei tanto tempo aprendendo sobre trajes folclóricos de todo o mundo que é hora de colocar alguns deles no papel, dando atenção especial aos que se usavam no Brasil. Acontece que não podemos realmente encontrar muita informação sobre a moda brasileira e as roupas históricas do Brasil na internet, então achei que tentaria. Minha esperança é que, durante esse processo, eu encontre alguns amigos queridos também apaixonados por roupas de época e possivelmente ajude a espalhar essa paixão no Brasil, inspirar mais atores de encenação na América do Sul e despertar essa paixão nas crianças.
